Injured Worker Wins $2.1 Million Verdict
 
 

A State Supreme Court Jury in Queens has awarded $2.1 million to a bridge painter who fell off the scaffold he was working on the Whitestone Expressway.

The plaintiff ,Leonel Bexiga, sustained a severe fracture and two herniated disk in the accident and liability was apportioned against the third-party defendant, R. J. Romano Co.

Mr. Bexiga was represented by Peter D. Rosenberg of Rosenberg, Minc, Falkoff & Wolff, LLP., g. R. J. Romano Company was represented by John Morris of Fiedelman & Hefling. Daniel Hanson of Ahmuty, Demers & McManus represented the DeFoe Corp.
